"This is a residential area. I didnt see any shops or places to eat nearby. However very close to train station. You need to check in with an emailed code. Room was fine and large. A very nice breakfast was included at the sister hotel a few doors down which was really good. Overall recommended but my big tip is dont expect nearby shops or places to eat. Is nice and quiet area. "

"We had the most wonderful stay. It was exquisite. Unbelievable how perfectly it has been preserved with 14th century stained glass and a view from a fairytale. "We stayed with 2 families to enjoy Brugge and the beach. The house is very pretty, lots of style and very roomy. Love the sunroom to hang out and talk/play games. Everything was super clean and all amenities where there to cook a good meal. Location to the beach is super easy, Bredene is a very small town but has all you need and Oostende is a short distance away."

"I was not expecting a code-style reception at "A Flemish Tale. To me, an in-person reception check-in is essential for a traveler overseas like me. Thankfully, I was waiting downstairs at least 2 hours before my "check-in time" at 3:00 p.m., so that I was able to meet, totally by chance, the lady in charge at the entrance. But for this, I would not have been able to get my access code. Imagine how scary it was! "
