Donelle, the manager was wonderful as well, giving us a personal tour of the house along with many stories. She and her family were part of the rich history of the area, so she had many inside anecdotes. This is a special place to stay if you have any interest in delving deeper into Lafayette and Cajun heritage."

The only troubles we had really came from the unusually cold weather. We do not normally need space heaters, but this is an old home and the breakers kept tripping."
