"A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk."

"Conveniently located in city centre within walking distance to shopping and tourist attractions. Good for family stay. Only downside is the limited parking lots onsite. The hotel does provide discount voucher for parking at a nearby NCP car park though. "

"We loved this little apartment! Its location is excellent to walk to all the sights and restaurants of York. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We loved its location next to the city wall- very pretty. I could see how it would be hot in the upstairs in the summer since it was a tad warm when visiting in March. We would absolutely stay again."
