"Can not fault my staff at The George Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and beautifully decorated. The location was only a 15 minute walk into city centre. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay and were welcomed by Emily who was brilliant. She was very courteous, helpful and happy on reception and when serving in the Restaurant. The service from the young girl in the Restaurant was also excellent. The evening meal we had was very good and the choice was varied. Breakfast was great also. The location was great as it is only a 15 minute and nice walk into town and the churches and Cathedral."

"Excellent hotel stay. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The main house is comfortable and welcoming. The room was lovely, maybe a tad small but extremely clean with premium sheets and had everything you needed. Good coffee too! Only one tiny suggestion - the soap and shower gel were same container - it would be good to have a small bar soap at the sink so you didn’t need to move them. Love having bath robes. The restaurant was delightful - very fresh healthy food and great service. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"This was my second visit to Wellington apartments and once again the staff are beyond friendly and helpful and it is so convenient for the station, cathedral, river walk, and town centre. I love how walkable it is and how welcome I feel from the staff and the guests. I was horribly jet lagged after an 16 hour journey and up at 1:30 am and someone checked on me outside while I was reading my book. They are literally the nicest people. "

"The hotel decor was stunning, the room was a good size, and had everything we needed and more. Breakfast was wonderful. Check in and out smooth. Would recommend for a city break, walkable distance from city centre so perfect for shopping, but far enough away from clubs etc to be nice and quiet - perfect!"
