"The hotel roomed seemed spacious and clean. The shower ran out of hot water first thing in the morning. I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. And my husband was charged $10 for a small bowl of cereal and a coffee which is steep. "

"Beautiful view, clean room and a lovely staff. Especially enjoyed their homemade pizza beside a cozy fire in sitting room. Angela was so kind "

"The manager/owner was very friendly and walked us through the whole place and its facilities. Has ample space to cook food and relax and even do your laundry. Seems well suited for "backpacking through scotland" type trips and also longer stays. Also has a box of kids toys in the lounge which occupied my boy for a good while."

"This place was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay. The host is wonderful and left us some breakfast items in the mini fridge. It was a beautiful view of the loch and mountains."

"Loved staying here. This was our first guest house experience, and it did not disappoint. The room and en-suite were both spacious, with attention to detail. The breakfast was first class service, with personal interaction with the Chef. Would highly recommend to stay here."

"We had a two night stay at 2 stones. Ben greeted us and was very welcoming, friendly & informative. We had a fabulous view looking out over loch Long. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. A decent sized bathroom although the shower was a little 'snug'. There was traffic noise from the road but it didn't affect our stay. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices. We would definitely return."

The room was big, as was the onsuite, and there were great touches e.g. a cafetiere with coffee, supplied free, each morning. Breakfast was plentiful, freshly cooked abd yummy. "Nice, clean, and well insulated. We felt very secure and comfortable. Only complaint is that the WiFi signal was a little weak but we didn’t really mind disconnecting for the night (it was still enough to book our next room and view itineraries etc). "

"Comfortable, clean self catering property in the heart of stunning countryside and right next to Loch Awe. "

"This is a perfect apartment for a small group to visit Fort William. It has a parking spot if you are driving yourself. It put us in driving range ti visit the Isle of Skye. Takes a whole day to do but worth it if you get over that way"
