"We stayed for a week, had a superior and a classic rooms, so could compare the two. Very clean, comfortable, enough storage space, great bathrooms both of them, though I will book superior only next time as it is more space .The breakfast is outstanding, we had a late one each day and it was full of options . Would go back at any time. We didn't book the hotel's restaurant ,as we preferred dining out in different places, so can't comment on that. The hotel is only few minutes easy walk from gondola, taking you up to Meribel in 30 minutes. The reception staff is so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them, giving such good information about skiing and hotel surroundings. Brides-les-bains is a quite little town, but Meribel is so close and full of life . "

"The unit has a good floor plan and is warm and comfortable. There is a smallish kitchen with oven, cooktop, microwave, refrigerator and a great selection of crockery, utensils and electric appliances - everything you need to cook, prepare and serve meals. The shower is brilliant, an absolute 10, and the queen size bed and duvet are very comfortable and warm with a great selection of blankets if required. Located close to the unit is the bus stop for the free village shuttle bus which will also take you to the Olympic Gondala which links directly to to some of the very best skiing on the planet - a 20 minute magical ride away. A short 5 minute walk away is the local supermarket, tiny but absolutely jam packed to the rafters with everything you need. They speak French and English. The unit is well located in a small, pretty French semi-alpine village. I found it to be easy to get to from Australia - plane, train, bus - and a cost effective solution for my ski vacation."

"We liked the spaciousness of the apartment and the location. A ski shuttle bus takes you from the bottom of the drive directly to the lift and returns at the end of the day. The apartment was advertised as having an indoor parking space. This was not the case as someone had a permit to park for the whole season in the alloted space. Luckily we managed to find a space at the bottom of the drive.Unfortunately we arrived to find the apartment hadn't been cleaned. We contacted the host and, as the cleaners could not come until the following day, we accepted the offer of a refund as we had to clean the apartment ourselves. However we have not had the promised refund from the host despite many attempts to make contact since our return. Very disappointing!!"

"This hotel is awful and disgusting; the smell of mold and dust instantly chokes you as you enter. The bed was hard, the pillows were awful, and the blanket was very thin, making the winter stay extremely cold. The bathroom is designed in such a way that even with a heater, the shower remains freezing cold. The room had a full kitchen, but not a single piece of cutlery or utensils, and our request to be provided with any kind of dish had been denied, as apparently we were not allowed to use the kitchen!?. Every roadside motel has at least a coffee maker, and this was a $300 per night chalet!! The breakfast was included, but it was so disgusting and the same everyday that we had to get breakfast elsewhere. The pool is closed during the winter, and the spa costs 20 euros to visit. Be aware that stairs lead to many rooms. Thankfully, a kind worker was willing to help us with carrying the luggage. The staff are all hard working and kind, but it did not help to make this hotel meet any decent standards. The pictures are deceiving, as this hotel is a complete ripoff for the money."
