"This property needs improvements. Had to park on the road next to steep hill. Stepping into the apt area was rough as it was unfinished. It said sleeps six, but one bed and pull out couch with one extra blanket. Towels were old, furniture and carpets need cleaning or replaced. Not a lot of attention to detail. For the price, not a good value."

"This guest house was perfect for a quick vacation to Malibu. The room was comfy and the views were great. My only “complaint” although this was nothing major, there was some construction going on at the neighbors homes which made parking tricky at times. Despite the parking situation, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quaint getaway."

"This location had a beautiful view and serene outside location. Wonderful hosts, helped if we needed anything. We did not realize however it was the lower unit of the house. There were 2 families above us at different times during our stay, and we could hear every footstep from upstairs. Not ideal, I wish we would have known we were the lower unit, so we could expect that. Otherwise a beautiful place and we had a great time in Malibu!"

"We loved our stay in Topanga! The kids loved sleeping in the upstairs room and playing on the swing. I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and roosters outside. The outdoor kitchen was great and had everything we needed! The bathroom is in an outbuilding and was comfortable and easy to access - I took a bath and watched the trees through the skylight. We miss it already!"
