"Unfortunately we were not offered the two bedroom apartment we had booked, instead we were offered a one bed apartment with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was very hard and not suitable for two people, not even children. We requested a partial refund for this and were assured we were entitled to one but this has not been received. There were a few snags which I emailed the host about, mainly odd repairs and renewals needed. Beautiful... Highly recommended stay

"The trip was made memorable because of our stay in pine lakes. It was a beautiful cottage. We stayed in 63, it was fully functional kitchen and well equipped place for a perfect get away. Loved every minute there. We had some issues with pipes but as soon as we let the management know, they sent someone and fixed it. They were always checking on us and made sure everything was comfortable. We had a perfect stay."

Wonderful weekend with the Girls

"Perfect place to switch off. The food was excellent, not a huge menu to choose from but there was something for everyone. Prices seemed high at first glance, but I can assure you that you definitely get what you pay for. really good. The homemade sourdough bread!!!! amazing, would return just for that. (honestly it is something else) The staff really make this place wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. The room was really nice, really clean and comfortable. The SPA, this was really wonderful, the treatments were exceptional, and the facilities were amazing. Location was great, we walked into Ambleside on the opposite side of the lake and caught the bus back (559) to the hotel after some shopping and a shandy. "

"Easy check in - Friendly staff -Superior room was large with view over the lake and came with table and 2 chairs as well as the usual dressing table ,wardrobe etc. Room servicing - cleaning etc was by request only but did not find this a problem Overall a pleasant experience"
