"We booked the Garden Suite which was a lovely room with stunning views. Unfortunately on the first night there was a young family in the room above us and they were pretty noisy jumping up and down. I asked reception to have a polite word which they did. My only other negative was the bed; the mattress was so hard it was a killer. The hotel did put a duvet directly onto the mattress but I think having the option to have a topper would have been better, especially given the luxury sell of the...

"This is a very old pub so to be expected that floors are somewhat uneven, took a bit of time to get used to this. Room was at front of building,had a large, comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. Sadly our stay was spoilt by other guests on Saturday night making lots of noise till the early hours. Breakfast was excellent with good choices, particularly catering for gluten free diet. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. "

"Was supposed to be pay at hotel but charged a week in advance which wasnt ideal. Main pub was so dead when we arrived they were serving food and closed early at 830pm which was very disappointing after a long journey. Room was a great size. Bedding smelled stale, but looked very nice Some ofvthe fittings and fixtures were a bjt dated and had seen better days. On site parking was good. Toiletries were minimal so glad I brought my own. It was ok but not sure I'd stay there again."
