Great location for Forest of Dean
Lovely room in main house, full of character and nice and clean. Being old, it is very creaky and you can hear everyone moving about in the room next door. It is in a great location for Forest of Dean, good parking (with EV charger), two nice restaurants (we ate in the orangery and the food was great). Only thing we expected was shower gel and shampoo to be in the room, (apparently there should have been some but they were missing from our room). Other than that it was a very nice stay.

The staff are all lovely and helpful. Very dog friendly I found the beds uncomfortable, which as a real problem as I didn't sleep on both nights. For this reason I will not stay at Speech House in the future.
