"The hotel is less than a block from Paddington station which is amazingly convenient to get to almost anywhere. The area was safe to walk around and lots of food options, and also a quick walk to many other sites. It's in a historic property, but we were able to get a room with an en suite bathroom. "Just under a mile away from the Horley train station and a short drive to the Gatwick airport. Rooms are spread between the first and second floor with shuttle service and breakfast options available. Minor issues with the room where the shower was not draining properly, but was still able to freshen up. Like most houses in the UK no AC units were available in the room, but the window and time of year provided enough cooling needed for the night. Staff are friendly and the rooms were quiet...

"Good location base. Original room a bit of a small layout but we were luckily offered another choice of room available which we took. Staff friendly and very helpful. Communal areas need refurbishing as heavy use. Busy area so if on lower levels can hear outside but have to expect this in a city. Lots of places to eat nearby. "
