"Came from California to spend a weekend with my son, his wife and my 3 grandkids who live in Dripping to hangout with me. The place was perfect for a 10, 12 and 14 year old to hang out...swimming, hot tubbing, competitive ping pong and corn hole games. It was the perfect spot for everyone!"

"It is Rustic but it was great. Clean and taken care of. We loved that it was out in the country. No city lights or traffic noises. Wifi was good and cell services was ok."

"Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. We spend hours on the treetop balcony watching the birds, squirrels and deer. Just minutes away from Pedernales Falls State Park and enjoyed a day of hiking and swimming there. "We enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill Cabin. Two things I would say. The steps are hard to navigate without a rail and the bathtub was hard to get in. We are both over 65 so in case you’re a senior citizen you might think about that. When we arrived on Monday around 6 PM we had to drive around the parking lot 3 times to find a parking place because Me. Gatti’s Pizza was busy."

"The cabin was great from start to finish. Check in was easy. Great place for a couples getaway and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing and having a couple of drinks. Just far enough out of town for peace and quiet but still close enough to enjoy what Fredericksburg has to offer. We will definitely stay again."

"I’ve stayed at every type of place Fredricksburg has to offer and this was one of the best. It is in an extremely convenient location steps from Main Street but it was so quiet and peaceful it felt like it was miles out of town. Several deer ran across the creek and through the backyard. Everything was very clean."
