We loved the location, tucked away in the woods but still close to town with many restaurants and shops. We loved having the fireplace in the house and the provided logs! "We enjoyed our stay. So very quiet which is what we were looking for. Gun shots, but it is texas and im sure a hunting season. Didnt bother much, but a surprise. Not handicap accessible. Loved the shared areas. Since its winter, I guess why there wasnt any bags for cornhole and only one horseshoe. I think it will be BEAUTIFUL in the spring and summer. Would like to have known there was an outside grill. And also a microwave. Would love to see that updated. Only a mini fridge but...

"The Ruby Cabin at Stoney Ridge surpassed all of our expectations. From the rustic decor, the fully stocked kitchen and grill, the hot tub and amazing views from the porch, our stay was spectacular! "Everything is pretty much brand new. We were the only ones on the property. The other three shipping containers were vacant. Very romantic weekend. Hot tub steps from back door. Deer feeder in front of the property was pretty cool. All the deer come running over at feeding time. Clise enoughto Gruene to be convenient far enough to feel rural."
