"From the pictures and online description, this property would seem to be very appealing. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. On arrival, we were greeted with a view of a building site – complete with a workmens’ portacabin placed in the shared drive / entrance space. It transpires that the property (also owned by the owner of this one) in the same courtyard is undergoing extensive renovations. "Property is situated in the grounds of Spital House and it very quiet. Cottage is very spacious and was very clean and is well stocked with essential equipment. Liked the small welcome pack also the pint of milk in the fridge. The stables are directly behind the property and the horses where in the field every day. Found it difficult to find as directions from the post code take you to Paxton so better to set google maps for Spital House this takes you almost to the front door of the cottage....
