"One of our best hotel experiences ever! Truly unique design of this hotel, just fascinating how they have a tall tower of smooth river rocks in the central lobby which reach from floor to ceiling and are contained within a wire cage, and then the undulating floor balconies surround it. The breakfast room on the top floor had an incredible view of the Guggenheim and a very delicious breakfast. Fresh papaya! Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved everything about The Artist! Also, there is a chocolate shop called Miss Choc Ole just down the street that makes its own confections and boxes them on site. You can get some wonderful locally produced gifts here as well as deeply satisfying and thick hot chocolate."

"This is a lovely boutique hotel. Friendly helpful staff and readily accessible to both, the old city and the newer city. Best of all, it was a 5 minute walk across a bridge from the our arrival train station. Note: for those with sensitive skin like me, I put a t-shirt over my pillow to stop the reaction from the scented detergent/dryer chemicals."
