"Communication after booking with Vrbo was awful. Heard nothing from Vrbo when I called they told me that the property manager did not use the Vrbo system for communicating with the customer. Spoke with letting agent but access documentation didn't arrive till the day before we were due to start our journey so no time for pre-planning. The property was spacious. "Absolutely beautiful property, spotlessly clean and loved the jacuzzi (which was set up and ready to go!) parking outside the house and visitor parking if you have more than 2 cars. The host was friendly, responsive and incredibly helpful. Would really recommend! Thanks for saving our new year!"

"The barn was small and cosy and perfectly equipped for a lovely night away. It was a little tricky to find with the postcode so a few more detailed directions would have been handy. The only criticism was that there were a lot of dog hairs on the furniture and carpet upstairs even though the sign said no pets allowed upstairs."

"Paid £74 for a room with no kettle or TV, and wasn't even ensuit, so for me the price was about £24 too much, the bathroom was right next to my room, and the girl in another room was in and out to the bathroom all night, and then decided she was going to have a shower at 6.30am and then dry her hair, the room was comfortable and there was a kitchen and TV downstairs but nowhere to sit and watch TV as. The 1 armchair was covered in laundry and I didn't fancy sitting on a stool at the kitchen...

"Wonderful old house on great surrounds, although off a busy road. Unfortunately, kitchen not up to standard due to cleanliness and overall dirt everywhere. Oven desperately needs a good clean. Also plagued with flies seemingly living within the wall cervices. We enjoyed our stay after giving the place (kitchen in particular) a good clean."

"Had a lovely 4 night stay at Hawks Barn. It is a real home from home and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Awesome location for visiting the many sights the area has to offer, would have loved to have stayed longer."
