"The hotel gave me a room with a gorgeous roll top bath as I had requested, so I was very grateful to enjoy a luxurious soak. I also was very happy with the breakfast; you can order anything off their menu, however it was inconvenient that breakfast wasn't served until 8am because I had a to be at a seminar in the centre of Oxford by 9am and I ended up arriving there late. I also could not find the car park so had to pay for the long stay. "

"We have been to The Cotswolds many times, but this is the first time staying at the Prince of Burford. We were made very welcome from the beginning and was even offered a complimentary drink on arrival, which you don’t get in all hotels. Room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. Food was outstanding and the staff very attentive, friendly; all members of staff went above and beyond even though they were short staffed and busy. "Pros: - Excellent staff - Delicious breakfast - Bags of character (don't miss Waddesdon Manor) Cons: - Noisy road in front (we asked for rear room, Room 1, which is comfortable but a bit neat sizewise) Small issues: - Shower head broken (could not be attached to riser) but will be fixed - Rear access door below bedroom slammed every time people entered/left but will be fixed Overall, enjoyed our stay and recommended."
