"For being so close to a major road and lots of shops and strip malls, the hotel was very peaceful. The bedding showed signs of wear, but the room was clean and the level of lighting was great. However, only one elevator was in operation during the three days I was there."

"Staying at the American Inn was really nice and very convenient. I appreciated the price immensely and the ease of booking it. However, I would encourage the facility to ensure guests know about alternative parking options. It was pretty hard to figure out what to do other than to park at the very small lot that the hotel had. So if there could be information given to people about where they can park overnight or even a deal with the Bethesda Hotel that guests can park there at a different rate...
