"It was very convenient to the train station. The rooms were large, and the kitchen was great! We just picked things up at the grocery store and put them in the oven. There were some restaurants close, but we chose to just eat in the room. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. There’s not a coffee maker in the room, but there is a coffee downstairs and it’s relatively inexpensive."

"Amazing hotel! We booked a deluxe room and the room was huge, super comfy king sized bed with the best pillows! The shower was nice and powerful, good sized bathroom, hair dryer. There was a UK socket in the room and some USB sockets. We stayed here for Amsterdam, the train station is literally 4 min walk away and the train into Amsterdam takes 15 mins! It’s so convenient. We had to pay city tax when we checked in, lovely reception area and friendly staff! "

"The July was absolutely lovely. I have OCD and will only stay where the place feels clean. The bathroom was spotless, the bed and bedding was clean (and comfortable - I slept like a baby) The staff were super friendly and gave us some really lovely restaurants to go and try (we’re foodies!!) and any bits missing from the room, they sorted in less than 5 minutes after calling the front desk. I could literally have stayed for another two weeks there to be honest and I’m hoping to come back asap (when I can afford a longer stay). It’s about a 25/30 min walk to central Amsterdam and it’s an easy enough walk. The ferry is about a 10 minute walk away too, so great to get to the artsy side of dam. The only thing I didn’t love was the TV - we luckily brought a cable to connect our iPad to use Netflix etc, but if you don’t have that, you can only watch a couple channels and the apps don’t load properly - it took me a while to get YouTube up and I can’t even remember how I did it in the first place! I can’t say that’s the case for every room and is only a slight negative if you wanted to chill and watch something after being out all day. "
