"Our stay was straightforward and the hotel was easy to find. The parking, however, was less than ideal because their parking lot is under construction. The available four spots were taken up by construction or company vehicles. The night we arrived, the restaurant was expecting 200 guests. "We were impressed with our accommodation from the minute we arrived. It was very surprising to find a garage attached to the apartment and this made unpacking quick and easy. Our apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. The Sports Bar is conveniently located for a quiet drink and meal. The surrounding area is great for walks and kangaroo spotting. "We love staying at the Newcastle Holiday Inn Express IHG. Every thing is clean, comfortable, convenient for our purposes. The staff are always very lovely, friendly and helpful at all times. We often stay due to medical appointments in Newcastle area. We love the location as we are close to medical, and clise enough to the harbour to be able to get out and excerise and enoy the beautiful harbour foreshore walk ways. Its our place of choice when travelling to Newcastle. Highly recommend to sray here "
