"Set in the grounds of the May Day insane asylum, this lovely hotel and its attentive, hard working staff was a great place to stay. The restaurant and bar area were great, the hotel has a warm cozy feel, the rural views and the tour of the old asylum were a bonus and the gorgeous grounds made for a peaceful visit. They were even very accommodating when we decided to stay an extra night after already stayed 3 that we didn't have to change rooms and even gave us a discount on the extra night. "Inside cabin was great, air con worked really well on 40 degree days. We were very happy with little clean tidy cabin which had plenty of cooking utensils. overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. However, we noticed Towels were worn. Also the Outdoor alfresco area could be improved with seating and made tidier."
