"We have just got home from a lovely two night stay at The Bridge Inn. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were given a warm welcome. The room that we booked was a cosy double. It was everything we expected. It was small but adequate for our stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of complimentary tea, coffee , hot chocolate and biscuits in the room and a good size TV. The bathroom was also small but again adequate for a short stay. The toiletries were of high spec and the towels were large and soft. The food in the hotel was delicious and of high quality. The restaurant was always busy, which is always a good sign. I can honestly say that the breakfast was the nicest we'd ever had in a hotel. There was a great choice on both the restaurant menu and the breakfast menu. Thd hotel is right in the heart of Holmfirth so everything is on your doorstep. I would just like to say a special mention about Tate who was always attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. All staff were brilliant though. We will definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful stay.. arrived at the hotel"

"Fabulous place to stay. The bar/restaurant is cosy and inviting. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Teas coffee and cake was a lovely touch in the room. Beds comfortable, breakfast delicious. Taxi to nearby picturedrome £6 each way. Can definitely recommend."

"We hadn’t appreciated what a gorgeous location this property was in. The view from the front of the cottage over the reservoir is gorgeous, and a first floor reading nook is so cosy and gives the feeling of being by the sea side! The property is really tastefully decorated, making it feel like a home from home. The check in process was really smooth and easy to understand. The weather during our visit was terrible but we would love to come back again with better weather to take advantage of all the local area has to offer. Would definitely recommend. "

"Very nice homely country pub with good food and Local brewery (Nook), excellent views and easy reach of Holmfirth (we did get a taxi for the nearly 2 miles / 10 mins journey). Will definitely be staying again when we visit the Picturedrome again."

"Really nice cottage, all useful things provided plus a selection of treats! Dog friendly, in fact the owner went over & above. Would stay again, great place for walking & local pubs, some you will need a car for, but that wasn't an issue. Many thanks for sorting out my inability to put the washing machine just on spin!"
