"We only stayed one night in a double room with en-suite in Hattie’s House which is a building across the car park and had a wonderful evening meal in the pub itself.The interior of the pub was exceptionally warm and inviting. The breakfast was good also."

"We only stayed a night which really wasn’t long enough. The accommodation is at the back of the pub and it is clear a lot of thought has gone into it and it has paid off. We ate there in the evening and the food was excellent as was breakfast. Service is spot on too. Great base for surrounding area, we went to Hauser and Wirth which is only 10 minutes away. "

"A pleasant stay in an attractive country pub The room was spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The bed comfortable. The food was good especially the breakfast. It is in a pretty village good for walking outside. Plenty of parking. Would like to see double glazing on the windows as right by a road. However this isn’ta problem at night as very quiet and peaceful. The room was exceptional with vaulted beams and chandeliers. A lovely bathroom with pleasant toiletries but the shower shelf on...

"A very nice and quaint area which I have never visited before. Lovely staff to accommodate my late arrival! Easy to use, and no problems at all with the facilities. Parking wasn't obvious at first glance, but despite parking on a hill, managed to find a spot of free parking opposite the pub."
