"Haven’t stayed here for quite a few years, but absolutely love it here! It’s quiet, private and just beautiful to get away from it all. Breakfast provisions were wonderful and the kitchen is well supplied. Thank you for having us! Will be coming back."

"Overall it was a good experience, and wonderful that it was pet-friendly. Loved having the fire going! The dog could get under the house (beneath the deck) so that was challenging to get him to come out, and not to eat the seeds/nuts in the garden. One area of improvement could be to block it off. It would also be good if some spare linen and/or washing detergent could be supplied as there was only one towel per person."

"We were so pleased to be in Country Cottage. It’s got the feel and character we like, so lacking in most short term accommodation. It’s quiet for sleeping in and has lovely places to sit to eat or relax in the garden and the house, whilst being close to the buzz of Brunswick, good food and great shopping. A perfect blend of the best of both worlds."

"Incredible views. Amazing place to stay definitely will have to come back. So peaceful didn’t want to leave. "

"I stayed here after my wedding night, the check in could be a lot better as we did not receive the key code and had to stand outside the property at 11pm calling for the code, other than that it was a beautiful cottage, great views and peaceful. The drive way is extremely steep so a sedan might struggle. "

"Very Serene location with lake and bush style cottage living feel. Very friendly host who bakes the best bread. Cottage is large, allowing kids to have their own time. Large SPA-bedroom-bathroom-Kitchen-Sunroom was all on point. Definitely recommend for a relaxing family getaway in nature."

"It was good stay overall. But place was not highly clean. Dust visible on curtains. Rubbish found under sofa. Kaye is a good host and very reachable."

"This place was a bit of a surprise. It’s very well maintained. Host was very easy to contact and super helpful. Access to the fabulous coffee shop next door was really delightful. There’s a great strip of shops over the road that we thoroughly enjoyed (good food, wine bar, groceries if needed). Train and buses nearby and we used uber a bit.Would absolutely recommend."

"The only downside was that it’s listed with wifi. Unfortunately there was none!"

"We spent 3 days in early March 2024 at Willunga Cottage. The property was very homey and had everything you could want for a relaxed family get together. The kids spent most of their time in the pool, but there were many other things to keep them interested both inside and outside. The adults, our 2 daughters and their partners found the inside amenities comfortable and quite adequate. Lily our host was very helpful and quick to get back to us when we had a couple of questions prior to...

"The property was comfortable and a beautiful place to stay. It was a beautiful and clean house with a lovely view and gorgeous surroundings! However, the one downfall was the very steep driveway and very narrow street made parking very difficult. Mind you we do not have a four-wheeled drive but without this type of vehicle, I cannot imagine navigating this driveaway without issue. The property owners sent someone to help us as we experienced car issues because of this issue, which helped...

"Gatehouse cottage was a delight a great little place to get cozy and relax. Great location with lots to do, the cottage was very clean communication was great when needed. Looking forward to coming back for another stay."

"The cottage is located in beautiful grounds and is very quiet. A track at the end of the street enables you to walk down to the village and enjoy the shops and cafes. The cottage is quite spacious although you need to be aware of some steps in between rooms as it’s easy to trip over them. Although it’s got a kitchen most people wouldn’t bother bringing supplies it would be useful to have some spreads eg peanut butter or jam if your making toast for breakfast."

"We have been in Australia for 2 months, and this is far and away our favorite stay. It was SO comfortable, so well equipped (even luxurious), and smack in the middle of the other-worldly Dandenong forest. Would come back every time - and Manager was totally responsive and always helpful and kind. I would give it 12 gold stars !!"
