"Haven’t stayed here for quite a few years, but absolutely love it here! It’s quiet, private and just beautiful to get away from it all. Breakfast provisions were wonderful and the kitchen is well supplied. Thank you for having us! Will be coming back."

"The place was fine, one issue was the internet dropping out but didn't matter that much. Well equipped, good aircon, lovely shower.Just could be a bit cleaner. Outside space nice and the birds were lovely.Thanks Julia"

"Overall it was a good experience, and wonderful that it was pet-friendly. Loved having the fire going! The dog could get under the house (beneath the deck) so that was challenging to get him to come out, and not to eat the seeds/nuts in the garden. One area of improvement could be to block it off. It would also be good if some spare linen and/or washing detergent could be supplied as there was only one towel per person."

"We were so pleased to be in Country Cottage. It’s got the feel and character we like, so lacking in most short term accommodation. It’s quiet for sleeping in and has lovely places to sit to eat or relax in the garden and the house, whilst being close to the buzz of Brunswick, good food and great shopping. A perfect blend of the best of both worlds."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Franklin cottage. It’s just what you need for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. The cottage is neat and tidy and offers everything you need. It’s well appointed and offers beautiful views of the surrounding trees. "

"Very Serene location with lake and bush style cottage living feel. Very friendly host who bakes the best bread. Cottage is large, allowing kids to have their own time. Large SPA-bedroom-bathroom-Kitchen-Sunroom was all on point. Definitely recommend for a relaxing family getaway in nature."

"I stayed here after my wedding night, the check in could be a lot better as we did not receive the key code and had to stand outside the property at 11pm calling for the code, other than that it was a beautiful cottage, great views and peaceful. The drive way is extremely steep so a sedan might struggle. "

"Despite the chilly winter days - this was a lovely cottage that was warm and comfortable. The owner Deep was a great host. And a great contained garden for our dogs. Highly recommend."

"Gorgeous cottage, comfortably furnished with all you could need for a stay and more. The hosts had wonderfully attended to lots of little extras that made the stay so special: from records, to home baked goodies, super soft towels to lovely toiletries. Wonderful, I will be recommending to anyone I know heading this way! Easy walk to Tecoma train station and the main high street. Felt amazingly spoilt by their generosity. Thankyou so much, you made my sons stay so special."

"The property was cold and damp even though the weather was hot! Bedding and towels damp"

"Peaceful family holiday in a country setting in the outer suburbs of Melbourne. Close to beach and shopping centres. Close to the Botanical Gardens. A Christmas tree was set up for our celebrations, which was a lovely touch. Relaxing pool, and lots to entertain the kids, with play set, cubbie house and trampoline. "

"The property was comfortable and a beautiful place to stay. It was a beautiful and clean house with a lovely view and gorgeous surroundings! However, the one downfall was the very steep driveway and very narrow street made parking very difficult. Mind you we do not have a four-wheeled drive but without this type of vehicle, I cannot imagine navigating this driveaway without issue. The property owners sent someone to help us as we experienced car issues because of this issue, which helped...

"The place was lovely and it felt very much like home! Christine and her husband had left us some yummy snacks and we had everything we needed to make breakfast and coffee in the mornings! Would definitely recommend for a nice little getaway! X"

"The cottage is located in beautiful grounds and is very quiet. A track at the end of the street enables you to walk down to the village and enjoy the shops and cafes. The cottage is quite spacious although you need to be aware of some steps in between rooms as it’s easy to trip over them. Although it’s got a kitchen most people wouldn’t bother bringing supplies it would be useful to have some spreads eg peanut butter or jam if your making toast for breakfast."

"Gatehouse cottage was a delight a great little place to get cozy and relax. Great location with lots to do, the cottage was very clean communication was great when needed. Looking forward to coming back for another stay."
