"Had a lovely stay despite some unfortunate circumstances that bought us to Tunbridge Wells. The food in the restaurant was good, but we only ate there a couple of times as there are so many great places to eat in the Pantiles & High Street. The room was nicely appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We will miss walking down to the town through the common, but less so the uphill walk back! "

"Lovely hotel. Slow service. Our room was a decent size with a nice bath. A lot of noise can be heard between rooms but this is the case in many hotels. "

"Booked us into room 14 which was cold. Spoke to reception who informed me that there was no heating in this room. Told them that we could not shower bathroom freezing and to sleep would be too cold. Very good and we got transferred to room 109 which was lovely but found out cold tap Didn’t work. No a hassle for us and room wax warm. Breakfast great and staff are friendly and helpful"

"Clean hotel, communal areas are lovely and breakfast is great. Our room was not as I’d expected. It was small and was worn with chips in furniture and cold! I asked for extra bedding and this was provided, I was also offered a heater for the room as the radiator was not working. I can’t see how the room could have been described as delux double as it was an attic room and the sloping walls meant a mirror couldn’t be hung above the sink so shaving was difficult. "

"A lovely unspoilt hotel which still has all its classic features and isn’t a bland, generic place. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in awhile. It all tasted fresh and didn’t look like it had been sitting around for hours."
