"Our room, a junior suite was quite large and surgically clean. Bathroom was very modern, large and with great water pressure. Staff was great. My only caution would be to comment that this is not an air-conditioned hotel in the usual sense. There is a system which can be set to lower the temperature in the room slightly, but we found it ineffective. If you're not comfortable sleeping in a warm room, this hotel might best be considered only in the cooler months. "

Super friendly and helpful reception (providing maps of the city, Basel card, tips for getting around the city easily and onwards travel) and a very clean and comfortable stay for a good price. "We spent New Year’s in Basel and was hoping for something a little more quaint, but the hotel was clean, quiet, and convenient to a variety of restaurants and local transportation. We are INCREDIBLY grateful to the gentleman who checked us in as he let us know that the garage we had originally parked our rental car would be locked through the New Year’s holiday which would have greatly impacted our plans the next day! Thankfully we were able to move our car to a different lot and left the next...

"One of the best Pullman hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Not only it’s very central, they provide you with free public transport for your stay (apparently a lot of hotels in Basel do this), their service was warm and friendly, they provide you with bottles of still and sparkling water! Also memory foam pillows! Which was what I needed after a long day! "

"Basel is a quaint city. Rooms were clean. Easy public transportation to downtown and zoo. The hotel bar had a great attentive bartender and breakfast was a good spread every day."
