"I really wanted to like this property but there many issues. First of all this is not a real hotel. It's a bed and breakfast. The day we showed up, the gate was closed and there was no way to get in. After driving and walking around the outside fence for half an hour we found a construction worker who went and found a care take for the place. "Wonderful campsite, we’d definitely come back. Free boat ride across to the town was very handy Only disappointment was that we booked and paid via Expedia but when we arrived they had no record of our booking. Long delays but they eventually found us a static van to stay in. "

"We were upgraded to a very nice and large suite which was great. Very comfortable. Amazing but rather open plan bathroom which was fine, other than the open plan toilet (which had no door). Dining was good and enjoyable. Large swimming pool. Understaffed at times. Overall recommended. "

"Great hotel but unfortunately they stole my travel wallet . I forgot a large leather travel cas containing a lot of cash and three passports and two driver's licenses in the room safe. I called the hotel within 30 minutes and they said they would look in the room. I came back and was told they had found the passports but No Wallet!!!!! "Beautiful location. The rooms are lovely and equivalent to a 5 star hotel. The pool is very nice. the breakfast buffet is also very good and so is the restaurant. Where things fall short is the service. It wouldn't deter me from coming back but you'd expect such a beautiful venue to have better service."

"This is a delicious and well-run property with a long history. Everything was perfect..almost. Our suite was very comfortable, but it was VERY dark inside. It was long and the only natural light is from the door (glass). That was our main criticism. The only other little quibble is there was absolutely nowhere to hang our sumptuous robes, and so the cleaning crew (and it WAS a crew) took to hanging them on the shower door or folded (wet) by the tub."
