Nothing much to do in the evening and you need a car if you want to get around. One shuttle to the beach and a local trip is all there is from the hotel. But for ambience and relaxing super. "

"We were so pleasantly surprised with how clean and lovely Valtisya House was. The best, however was the help we received from Juan at check in. He went above & beyond in arranging an early taxi for us and made sure all went well, helped us to our room and gave great directions for places in the neighborhood. "

"The hotel was very clean and tidy. The safe were all so polite and knowledgeable in their area of work. The food was plentiful and enjoyable. Only one criticism is that some of the food wasn't hot enough for my liking but if you ask staff they would warm it. I need a gluten free diet and the staff where so helpful. Fabulous idea to have an app so we could order what we wanted. So much to choose from. I would definitely return to the resort and recommend the hotel."

"Little if anything to fault, other than that the hotel requires an uplift, decor, furnishings etc. The staff are competent, hardworking,and courteous. The concierge staff always pleased to assist - in particular Santiago, who in my view epitomises the true and effective hospitality professional. We enjoyed our stay and whilst we visited the entertainment, the class act was the ambidextrous lady who was thrown out of a suitcase!!! "Lovely place lovely pool area, some bits in the bathroom need a bit of Tlc, I had mould on curtains but lovely place to stay "

"The property is ideally located adjacent to the cathedral and the historic buildings. The staff, from receptionists to room service, are all very friendly, slimly and helpful. Breakfast is good, Bus transportation, restaurants, shopping all nearby, no need for costly taxis. The property has no glassing for sound proofing, therefore expect noise from the cobble street, Cars, road services machinery, beer bar adjacent to the hotel and general public visiting the cathedral. Light sleepers beware....

"A well equipped, sweet little house with a lovely roof terrace. Easy check in and good communication with host. We had a couple of issues with the fridge and the shower drainage but Martin was very prompt in responding to our concerns and coming to sort them. It can be chilly overnight (we stayed in Feb), there are some extra blankets but bring layers."

Fantastic stay.

"The whole villa is spotless the rooms are cleaned daily, the couple who host the villa are really friendly and very welcoming and are happy to chat about the house and the area making your stay even better. There is a coffee machine in your room and a fridge, the beds are super comfy and there is even a flat screen tv with Netflix if you have the time to watch it!"

Beautiful cottage, wonderfully friendly village.

"Beautifully restored cottage on edge of very friendly village (we were given oranges, straight from their trees, THREE times!). Comfortable inside, roof top terrace and nice shared pool across the deserted private lane. Santa Lucia is the friendliest, prettiest village, with local bakeries, shops and restaurants, all very reasonably priced! We LOVED it!"

What a place

"This is an amazing property - we were two couples and three singles who stayed at this wonderful villa for a week . There is everything you could want and lots of extras that we weren’t expecting- air conditioning throughout , fans in every room, big TV’s, great sunbeds, bathrooms a plenty and so on and so on . Villa had several stunning outdoor spaces and the barbecue area was the perfect place to have dinner nightly . pedro was a great host and available if he was ever needed. If you are thinking about this villa , don’t hesitate. We hope to be back next year . Thankyou Pedro "

"Uns hat das Haus es sehr gut gefallen. Es ist ein wenig abgelegen, aber wenn man Ruhe sucht und sich abseits vom Tubel erholen möchte, ist es genau das Richtige. Zumal es auch reichlich nahe gelegen Wanderwege gibt. Sehr gut ist auch der Service, wir haben uns aus Versehen mal ausgesperrt, und der Verwalter kam sehr zügig mit einem Zweitschlüssel. Die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter lief auch sehr gut."
