"Great place to stop over The barn is nice and our room was spacious and clean (we were given the easy accessable room). The wet room was a bonus so enjoyed the shower and space. The small patio are would be great in the summer to enjoy the beautiful views of the fields. You will share the entrance and hallway with other guests. "We had a lovely stay. We were made to feel welcome and our room was lovely. The only issue we had was the noise from neighbouring rooms walking about upstairs and locking/unlocking their door, downside of an older house."

"The monastery has beautiful gardens to explore in any weather. The accommodation itself is spartan and authentic to the purpose, but is still good material value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the gardens alone, but the unique experience is also an attraction."
