"This property is great for peace and quiet. The damage in the area from hurricane Helene has shut down a lot of trails, waterfalls, and parks. However, it is still very beautiful and we will continue to travel to the area and hopefully stay at this retreat again. Right now it's smart to bring your own food, there aren't very many places to go out to eat unless you prefer fast food. The main highway also has a beautiful gift shop. "We have a large group that comes to Asheville every year to check out the brewery scene. The Wayward Moose Inn was perfect for us. The property was plenty big enough for the whole group and having the ability to schedule a shuttle ride to downtown was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be looking to stay here when we come back."

"I'll start with the pros. The lodge is very open with lots of areas to spread everyone out. The game room downstairs was nice and the open floor plan on the main floor was perfect for our needs. "This was our second stay. All great. The place was clean and well stocked. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The hiking right outside your doorstep is amazing. Perfect for our family of 5 plus granddad."

"Views were unmatched to any other rental. Cabin was beautiful. Property management company was attentive when minor issue came up and were easy to reach. Loft upstairs was very comfortable and plenty of space. The porch and hot tub with the views were great. The WiFi was weak most of the day and took forever to load but we were here for vacation not work so it didn’t matter. I’d recommend this cabin again! "
