"I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

"My husband and our 2 young children flew from the states over to England to surprise our friends for a special visit. This home was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family. It was a quick drive to many towns and had easy access to unlicensed transport so we could go into London. The property manager was kind and quick to offer assistance whenever we needed anything. "Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. "This is the place to go if you're looking for a peaceful stay in nature. The cottage is close to hiking trails and all you hear are birds singing.We arrived to a basket of generous snacks, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a family get together.Tim and his family were super helpful and made us feel welcome and at home.A weekend was simply not enough! We wanted to stay longer.. Highly recommended!"

"This property feels like you are house sitting. Everything you expect and more was provided. Having travelled from London where the accommodation varied, this home was a relief to stay in. The only real problem for us was that my spouse is very tall so had to duck when using the stairs."

"Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us."
