"the service and atmosphere was friendly & caring. I have arrived earlier than expected and check in wasn't till 3pm. the front desk was kind and very helpful and even allowed me to check in early. This hotel is very very clean and not very far from downtown Pittsburgh Made the commute very easy. I loved the packed breakfast they had as it was nice to bring on the Bus home. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will plan future stays.."

"It was sufficient for a night stay but probably would not spend an extended time there. The walls and bathroom door had crayon marks. The area is very congested and I didn't realize when I booked that for an overnight stay while on a road trip that it would take me an hour to get out of Pittsburgh!"

"This is the first time I've visited, The Maverick by Kasa. THIS Spot 🔴 is 💯 My ✋ Vibe. I am love with the large windows and the high ceilings in my room. I love the colors and textures it's just fabulous. The energy in this hotel is AMAZING 😍. I do believe it is an Old 🗝️ YMCA, can you only imagine how many people this facility has helped over time ⏳. I do believe there are some renovations in process. I entered very quickly because I couldn't wait to get comfy and cozy in my spot 😁....

"What a gem! The mansions on 5th was an excellent surprise. This area of Pittsburgh is gorgeous. We were touring Carnegie Mellon and were able to easily walk over to the campus tour. Rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. beds were extremely comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. If my daughter ends up at Carnegie Mellon, we will be back!"

"This was a new building with an outdoor pool. We could use the indoor pool in the old building on the same property. The the room was lovely. We slept really well. The breakfast faire was okay, though not too hot. The attendants were very attentive, and ready to help. This hotel felt safe, and it was in a quiet, yet convenient location.
