"We enjoyed the pools, gym, and walkable distance to nearby markets and Khao San Rd. Rooms were large and bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful. The area is a bit difficult to get transportation to, due to road closures and lack of public transportation. The rooms could use a deeper cleaning. "

"The hotel is okay, the rooms are not bad and the service is very good. The only issue I had was around the bar as the bartender does not really know how to make mixed drinks and their wine is out of a box. The one advantage is that it is next to Hua Lampong subway station and there is a Starbucks right beside the hotel. It is a few minutes away from Chinatown if you like that area. "

"Good hotel, centrally located, we walked everywhere 86k steps in 3 days. Rooms good size and with modern feel. Staff very nice and friendly. Rooms cleaned and water refreshed. Roof top bar superb, however the price of a drink is super, super expensive £28 for 2 330ml.😱"

"So many unexpected and well thought out details, very functional, like the best toilet roll holder ever - folds flat onto the wall when taking the roll off. The lighting options were extraordinary, being able to have sublte light from the headboard, or a bit more when turning on the bar light. "Banyan continues to be my favorite hotel during my stays in Bangkok. The staff operates in a level above and beyond other local hotels. They are professional, helpful, and pleasant. They really make a customer feel welcome. The food is also phenomenal. I’m not a breakfast person but I kept going to the buffet because of the quality of the selection. It’s healthy and delicious! The hotel’s best amenity remains the spa and the aromatherapy used throughout the stay. They continually change the fragrances in the room, which helps the guest relax. My only qualm remains the long walk to the local dining areas, but you get what you pay for especially with Banyan. The quality is definitely 5 star."
