"Can't say enough about our time at the Siam. It was like going back in time to a more gentile period. Arriving at the hotel made me think of what the estate of a Hong in the 19th century would look like. The hotel is decorated with tasteful art and collectibles of museum quality. The grounds are beautiful, the staff impeccable and having a beautiful boat to shuttle you to all the historical sites and restaurants on the river was the icing on the cake. To avoid all the traffic congestion in Bangkok and enjoying the cooling breeze on the river made it all worthwhile after a day of sight seeing.
