"Amazing stay at this property! The property was clean, simple, and very convenient as it was merely a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station. The owner of the business personally took the time and effort to make our stay as enjoyable and accommodating. Breakfast was provided and there were plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The genuine hospitality and friendliness of the owner himself truly made this experience personable and one of kind. We definitely will recommend this...

"With their creaky floors and thin walls, it was really difficult keep to their rules about not making noise at night. There must have been some sort of air con that ran throughout the whole apartment that made me cold during the nights. The friend whom I met while staying here and I found that the rooms were smaller than we imagined. The beds weren’t too bad but if you’re taller than 5’10 you should consider elsewhere. I have found that the coin laundry machines are so weak when drying it often...

"Here is the rub. My room was a capsule space. When I arrive, there were two shelves, one upper and lower shelf at the head of the bed. It was dark. I did not know that the bottom shelf was adjustable. Because of this for three nights, I slept with my feet hanging off the edge of the bed and on the third night I woke up, hitting my head on the bottom shelf because when the bed was made, the shelf was not collapsed and prepared for the next customer. "My 2 nights stay was terrible because I had a very big quarrel with another guest; was allotted a bed in the female room by a woman named Nana;the first night was fine but on the second night, came back from late night work, was tired and I just needed a good night sleep but as I went to my allotted bed,a Chinese guest came in and started shouting and screaming loudly at me,saying that was her bed;there was no staff member to solve the issue; had the worst experience in my entire life"

"This was the first time for our group of four going to Japan. We each had our own room and while they were nothing flashy they had everything you’d need. The hotel staff was very friendly, made us feel comfortable and even helped us ship our luggage to the next hotel. The location is very convenient being just a few minutes away from the train station, konbinis and good restaurants. Shin-koiwa is a nice place away from the big city, while still having everything you need within walking distance. "

Nice and modern hotel

"It’s just 4 minutes walk from the Akabane station. There are a lot of local shops around. The room I stayed was a loft type with high ceiling. Although size wise is small and you did not feel compact inside. I can have two big suitcases lying on the floor. The food of their restaurant was good with reasonable price."
