"Initial room was tired but still thought value for money as per location. No hairdryer then TV not working so very efficiently staff transferred us to another room (assume this was “superior” room for hotel which I’d class as a good 4⭐️ establishment which I’d expect to pay double to what I was charged (£54) Bargain so delighted with stay."

"I always pick this hotel for my Aberdeen trips. Probably 3 weeks per year. It just feels comfortable for me. The bar food is good and there is a resturant too. The gym and pool are great for my needs on a work trip too. The nice peaceful location adds to the appeal and an evening walk in the summer is good. "

"The staff go above and beyond at this hotel! They were so helpful with everything! We were also delighted to get a room with a bath, as we just have a shower at home, so a hotel always gets a bonus point from me for keeping their baths in use! The Copthorne is in a great location for the restaurants and pubs of Aberdeen. There is no onsite parking, but we got the train into town, so didn't need parking. The only thing I maybe didn't like so much about the room we had was the white paint and cool white lighting. I like my decor and lighting a bit cosier. It was very bright and clean though, and the mirror especially was well lit - always a plus for those of us who will be applying make-up. If you pay for your breakfast when you check-in, it costs £11, which is excellent value. We also thought the breakfast was wonderful. Will definitely come back to the Copthorne."

"Lovely atmosphere, the hotel has been very stylishly decorated with a mixture of periods of furniture. The staff were all very welcoming and made us feel very relaxed as soon as we arrived. The head waiter is a fantastic character and was kind enough to give my wife a rose when we sat down for an amazing dinner. He also seated us for breakfast and was very friendly and helpful. All in all a wonderful weekend away and we are both considering a trip back in the summer to enjoy the outside eating and the use of the verander with the room. "
