"We sat and watched a major winter storm outside the window. Very exciting from within a cozy house. We enjoyed staying in a house where you could feel somebody's presence, rather than the "accessorized" vacation homes with welcoming signs from the Dollar store etc. Only thing lacking--place needs a new key box because the existing one is hard enough to use that it feels like it won't work. Gorgeous place!"

"Great house very comfortable and well appointed. Very roomy for our entire family. Nice to have en suite bathrooms with all the bedrooms. The host was very good with communication. Located on a busy road and the driveway is on a curve which made it a little challenging entering and exiting the property. "

"The property was lovely. The views from every room were beautiful. It was fun to have a pool table. It would have been helpful to have an additional pull out couch or another bed. When we arrived the snow hadn’t been plowed which made for a stressful check in, but host fixed the issue within an hour"

"This Bailey Island home’s kitchen was well stocked and the space provided us a safe haven with amazing views for the two of us and our 4 year old goldendoodle. We were able to make several day trips that were so worthwhile - Kennebunkport, Booth Harbor, Bar Harbor, and Portland. The communication with Sheri was outstanding! Recommend a few bottles of water to be added to the complimentary wine. "

"Overall this location is a great spot for those that dont need many amenities. There is no tv and no ac but the view and the breeze from the water make up for that! The space was clean and there was a grill plus Cooks Lobster house was a quick walk down the street! "

"This was our 3rd vrbo stay in Harpswell and our first on Bailey Island. We went for part of the week on our own and cousins joined us there for a couple of days. We were thrilled to bring our Boston Terrier along, too! The house is rustic yet elegant in some ways (amazing steam room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds & bedding).
