"The house was amazing. Very well maintained and clean. The view of the lake was fantastic. No A/C but that was not a problem for us in February. Property Manager was very responsive. About 45 to 1 hour from most activities in La Fortuna which is not a bad drive. Some good restaurants nearby. The owners thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The cabins are cozy, clean, airy, and they even have screens on their windows and sliding glass door. "The house is so cute and cozy! It has everything that you may need for your stay. From the kitchen to the different rooms, everything is set. It is private and the lake was indeed in front. It was clean and the communication with the owner was very easy. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, that is absolutely your place. We got rainy days which made it hard to enjoy the lake. It was also far from activities so anywhere we wanted to go took us at least an hour and a half. "

"We spent 7 nights here, and found it to be peaceful and scenic, which is what we had hoped for. "The villas are great, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The property is beautiful and the dogs are the best part. So are the horses, goats, cows and chickens. "Place was absolutely amazing! Could not have asked for a better space or view. Even better, Coltin is by far the best property manager we’ve ever had at a rental. Not only was he there to help with the house but he and Celeste gave great recommendations on tours and even local restaurants. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!"

"We had such an amazing stay at this property. Our jaws dropped when we first walked in as the view is breathtaking. We felt very welcomed and taken care of by the staff and looked forward to coming back to our villa each day after we adventured. It was great proximity to all of the activities we did and enjoyed the scenery. I would suggest a vehicle with 4x4 to get into the property as some of the roads were rough, but it added to the fun! "The trails are real singletrack mountain biking trails. We went out for 3 hours and barely covered a quarter of the terrain. The waterfalls on the grounds are amazing. The variety of birds was amazing! It's best to have a car here because the best waterfall and the hot springs are a drive away. And the breakfast buffet was phenomenal: omelets made to order, pastries, fresh orange juice, fesh fruit, yogurt, granola, and hot food like fried plantains, stewed chicken, roasted yams etc. And everything is gluten-free - celiac heaven :-)"
