"We really enjoyed Villa Sol and this peoperty. It is in an excellent location, close to pool, short walk to restaurant, and close to shutttle stop. We loved the wet bar area, pool area, and beach. The villa has a great view and is well suited for our family of five with teens and adult kids. "

"Villa Rica offered everything we needed as a family for a relaxing get away. Kids definitely appreciated the pool and hammock and with fully stocked kitchen we could eat in when we rather stay in and relax. Villa is located in a gated community with its own pool and jacuzzi and is walking distance from the beach or you can use the shuttle. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Lovely little unit that was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the terrace, but as others have mentioned, a shade umbrella would have really added to our enjoyment. Everything with condo was great. There is no parking at the condo, but the shuttles to the parking lot come by every few minutes. Really appreciated that the shower had a safety bar! Everything very clean and nice. Bed was comfy. Definitely recommend. "

"We stayed at this condo for about 3 weeks and really enjoyed it. Great location in quiet beach town. The condo provided plenty of space for our family of four, very quick WiFi which made remote working easy, great location, and the whole resort property was very safe. I highly recommend bringing ear plugs because the main pool is next door and loud on Friday and Saturday nights. "

"We loved our stay at this property as it was plenty of room for our family of 13! The pool was a hit with our kds and the view was amazing. The property manager was very accommodating and helpful to our family and tended to any needs we had. The location was perfect - a short drive to Playa del Coco and an even shorter drive to Playa del Hermosa. We highly recommend this property! "

"The lock on patio door did not work when we got there. The pole to block it had rolled under couch from previous guests or cleaning crew, so we didn’t know it was there. No one responded until we contacted again after 6 raccoons came in and ate about 100 in food before we woke up to scare them off. They did come and fix after our visitors but we were still out food and had to leave unlocked for first 4 days. We also asked them to send someone to clean up the mess, but that didn’t happen. We...

"Upon arrival, 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and both showers were in disrepair. Some of these were fixed, but hot water to the master bedroom shower never was. Hot water to any of the sinks is not even plumbed in. Then on day two, there was no water period. Emails sent to the owner elicited some repairs, but there was no written response at all from 3 emails sent. Sections of the house are locked off, depending on how many people you have staying with you. Since we had 7 people, we were locked out of 2...

"Villas sol and in particular villa 36 were awesome. 36 is high enough up the hill that you have a great view. We loved the outdoor space for relaxing. This villa is close to the wet bar and the shuttle was very convenient for coming back from the beach (all uphill) but we also walked back some days. Villa 36 needs some love, the counter was glued back on, maybe a fresh coat of paint as the walls are all scuffed and dirty probably from luggage. "The villa we stayed at was everything we needed for living and cooking, and very well equipped overall. It was a nice, mostly downhill walk to the beach and we usually took the shuttle back to our unit since it's quite an uphill climb, though doable for most people in reasonable shape (we're in our 60s). A modest grocery store is 1.3 km away, right next to what is the best stocked and most reasonably priced souvenir shop in the area. About a 15 minute walk each way. A larger store is about 4 km...

"This is an older property on a fabulous beach. It seems as though the owners are in the process of slowly upgrading the interior. The AC works and the stove and refrigerator are new. They were very responsive to our questions and concerns. If you want an inexpensive place to stay close to the beach and aren’t expecting a place that has been completely renovated consider this rental. "

"The information provided to access the property and unit were fantastic. All the staff on the property are friendly and kind. The reception contact, (I can’t remember her name) was absolutely lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The pool was warm with very few people using it. You can walk easily to the beach and the grocery store is right out front. "

"The property was very nice and comfortable. Unfortunately we arrived later than expected and it was dark. We had a bit of trouble finding it. Otherwise it was just as described and would recommend it. Easy walk to the beautiful beach and within close driving distance to other lovely beaches and shops/restaurants. "

Occidental Papagayo - Adults Only - All inclusive

"Liked the balance of play and relaxation around the property. The staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend it to others. The only thing I would share to others is that the sidewalks and steps can be dangerous, since it is built into a side of a hill. I like the exercise, but other might not. Always wear shoes into the ocean, due to sea urchins, they ruined some people vaca."

7 day stay in Liberia Costa Rica 👌

"The check in process was easy. Infact when we checked in the A//C was malfunctioning in one of the rooms. We were swiftly moved into another room. Gated parking with security was excellent. The whole hotel is very secure. We appreciate that. The pool is very nice, clean well maintained. The little restaurant attached to the hotel has very good food and affordable. Nice service as well. The rooms and condos in general were very clean and well maintained. Each bathroom was updated very nicely. The kitchen/dinning area and bedrooms are dated. Clean functional in my opinion could use an upgrade. But for the price its a fair trade off. The kitchen is stock with everything you need to cook any meal. The walk to the beach is easy. Very nice beach i may add. As well next to the restaurant is a little super market which is very convenient for the majority of your needs. I did not rate as a 5 believing there is always room for improvement. Overall we had a very nice stay. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to this area. Thank you for making our experience enjoyable."
