"We enjoyed our time in Costa Rica! This property is very nice! It’s comfortable, clean, good location, pretty view from second floor balcony. Close to the Marriott if you want to eat at their restaurants…we went to their steakhouse, Sabanero and also had lunch at their poolside restaurant. We also enjoyed ice cream from Waves and Cream on their property. Hacienda Pinilla is very pretty. This property is very close to the beach (3 minute walk) and we enjoyed snorkeling right there. "We began communicating with Ben several months out before our vacation. He was very prompt in responding and answered any and all questions for us. When we arrived, everything was set up and ready for us. It was very enjoyable. This is not a five star hotel room, but very accommodating, very close to a wonderful beach and within driving distances of shops and restaurants. It was a great place to stay. If you do go, you must at least take a nap in the hammocks. They are wonderful."

We had several dinners together, and shared rides into tamarindo for groceries, produce, etc. he was great with our boys and their girlfriends, helping them with surf boards and advice.
