"It is a very nice place to stay, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is second to none and there is plenty of parking. Close to the M6. Bed was very comfortable. The only thing i have some criticism is that the TV is way too small. You had to sit on the end of the bed to watch it. WiFi reception was very hit and miss, but propably accepted due the location of the property."

"This is a terrible place for a person expecting a good nights sleep in a clean environment. I ended up staying in what felt a converted shed. It was cold and damp. The bedding felt wet to sleep in as it was so damp. I ended up sleeping in my t-shirt i was so cold. The pillows where brown and dirty. The carpet had not been hovered. "The room was clean and tidy & had everything we needed. It would have been helpful we’d been advised that there was an engagement party & live band playing that night as we were staying as we were running the Delamere Forest Marathon the next morning and hoping for an early night as we had an early start. "Not easy to find,since no street-number supplied until asked for. Expected en-suite - bathroom shared (between 2 rooms) and quite a distance from the bedroom. Access arrangements (and supervision) sketchy - via key-safe on telephoning (never-seen) owner. However, the bed was very comfortable and the location quiet."

"At first entry the property absolutely reaked of stale spices, I assumed somebody had just cooked but the smell remained until I left. My room at the front of the house was fine. A little bit dirty in places. The real nightmare was the bathroom. After walking through the kitchen which was dirty, full of dirty dishes, unswept/mopped for weeks and lacking supplies, I found 2 full binbags inside by the back door and then went to the bathroom.
