The only issues were figuring out where the light switches were, getting the shower to turn on and the traffic noise levels. "We loved this little spot! It was a great place to land after our flight. Very close to downtown Alajuela, which meant that we could walk out our door in the morning and find a nice cafe and good food at the Central Market. Our only challenge was that the traffic was quite loud overnight; my partner had a hard time sleeping, even with the provided earplugs. I recommend this location for sure for heavy sleepers."

"Nice property, secure. It has a power gate that opens to let you in and out of the property so on arrival there's a bit of a kerfuffle. Let the owner know when you are arriving I guess. Nice, clean, modern space. Owners/Security were very good. On the downside you are driving everywhere, nothing close. I run, but the street is busy with no sidewalks so not good for that. We picked the place because it had a washer and dryer. The washer was a small apartment wash/spin thing that was hard...

"We absolutely loved our stay at this house. There is no need for air conditioning being high up. No bugs at all! A lot of folks wrote comments about the steep road up to the house, which almost turned me off from booking it. The driveway is paved and while steep not an issue at all. Not sure why anyone would mention it. Fantastic place to rent. We will definitely be back. There are three rooms, each with their own queen beds and bathrooms. "

"We had a wonderful week in Costa Rica and this was the perfect home base. Conveniently located to the San Jose airport and day trips to Jaco for fun in the sun. We loved coming back to the house in the evening for pool side happy hour and grilling for dinner. Wonderful views of the Central Valley and cool night air provided a perfect setting to cast your cares away. Piet and Yvonne were wonderful hosts and I highly recommend this property."
