"The rooms were really old and had a run down feeling. The rugs were visibly dirty, the towels were cleaned, but had stains, and there was no clear statement (that I saw) that there is no elevator. The fireplace suites are not worth the extra cost-- the couches are old and discolored, and the fireplace was a stove- no instructions on how to use, etc. I was disappointed."

"Aspen Meadows is an excellent option for staying in Aspen. It’s about 1.5 miles from town, but they 2x/hour shuttles. Much less expensive than comparable properties in town, and the grounds and views are beautiful."

"Any room facing the main street will be loud in the evenings on the weekends as the hotel is next to belly-up and the line forms right next to the hotel entrance. If you’re a light sleeper, probably not where you want to be. However, the views from the top floors are fantastic. Pick your poison. Other than that, great spot and highly recommend. "

"This place is a gem! GREAT location for the price- easy walk to Gondola (4 blocks) and all the late-night hotspots. (easy walk or $8 cab ride). Its fresh and modern, rooms are a bit tiny, but free breakfast and apres wine/cheese are great and staff is friendly. BTW, the next-door property is a group of multi-million dollar condos! Please don't tell anyone - its a top Aspen spot for the price - Exceeded our expectations!"
