His mother regularly brought me delicious food from her kitchen and treated me like a family member. The house is amidst the most wondrous garden of flowers, trees and fruits I’ve ever seen. "Kalivia House met all of our vacation needs: wonderful view of the bay, useful amenities, plenty of space, delightful braying neighbor donkey, friendly outdoor cat, near to the beach and great restaurants. The host was very responsive and helpful. I wish we had brought some friends and family to help us enjoy the outdoor space. We also wish we had more time there to explore the area. Next time! "

"This unit was located within short walking distance from restaurants, the marina, and shops. The actual citadel of Monemvasia was about a 10-15 min walk away. A great balcony overlooking the water and Monemvasia on the second floor was a great place to have a drink and relax. It was clean, comfortable, and the sound of the lapping sea put us all to sleep each night. The ONLY thing we had an issue with was the shower drainage. That needs to be fixed.
