"To start with the (only a few) positives: - The property manager was forthcoming and friendly. - Location of the property is ok: Elafonisos is 10 minutes by car + 10 minutes by ferry away; Kastania cave, Petrified forest and Monemvasia are all 30-40 minutes away. The nearest town, Neapoli, is 5 mins away (all by car). However, the neighbourhood itself is less than scenic, a dirt coastal road leads you to the property. Nowhere to go on foot. "Eleni, die Vermieterin empfing uns und wies uns in die Besonderheiten des Hauses ein. Sie gab uns auch noch ein paar Tips wo wir Essen gehen könnten. Das Haus entsprach zu 100% der Beschreibung im Internet, nur in Natura ist es noch schöner. Wir genossen die Ruhe vor Ort und die wunderbare Aussicht von der oberen Terrasse. Die Betten waren sehr gut und es befanden sich in jedem Schlafzimmer noch Topper zum unterlegen. Gythio ist eine kleine Stadt mit vielen Restaurant und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten....

"We just came back from a 6 -day holiday in Skala with our 3 children (19, 16, 11) and we had an amazing time. The house, the setting, the beach, the facilities...everything is just perfect. I would highly recommend this house for a family with older kids or a group of friends. So if you are looking for calm, access to your own deserted sandy beach, family time., your own pool/table tennis/volley ball court...this is the place ! The difficult road to access the property is a very small price...
