"Kalivia House met all of our vacation needs: wonderful view of the bay, useful amenities, plenty of space, delightful braying neighbor donkey, friendly outdoor cat, near to the beach and great restaurants. The host was very responsive and helpful. I wish we had brought some friends and family to help us enjoy the outdoor space. We also wish we had more time there to explore the area. Next time! "

"Beautiful stone house easily slept the 5 in our family. Calming and peaceful for the most part, but the dog next door would bark until 1am every night, which was frustrating. All the contact with the John was quick and pleasant, but everything was in Greek. (Yes, I know…it’s in Greece.) But all of the house rules, instructions, etc., were all in Greek, which made things difficult for us, as I am the only member of my family who knows a little Greek. Could make things interesting for non-Greek...

"I had a wonderful five weeks at Rachi Boza. Kostas is a great landlord and his parents were warm and kind. His mother regularly brought me delicious food from her kitchen and treated me like a family member. The house is amidst the most wondrous garden of flowers, trees and fruits I’ve ever seen. There are many trails and cliffs to explore and you can walk to Μποζας beach, which is pebbly and has a taverna and beautiful, calm, clear water to swim in. Perfectly located for exploring the...

"Through early research queries and then the booking process Mary was very quick to respond and recommended exactly the right house for us (Couples). Her mum, who is a lovely person and lives close by, was there to greet us and help us with any issues. The views are magnificent and sunset in the jacuzzi with a glass ot two is not to be missed. Stoupa is a lovely seaside village with plenty of options for eating and was not over touristy during our stay (early June). Highly recommended."

"Plus: Wonderful terraces overlooking Kalamata. Negative: This is a stone house and can be quite cold. We successfully heated the living room area, but could not heat the lower bedroom. Also the house is a long way up a winding road and somewhat out of town."
