"Almarossa’s location was amazing! So convenient to everything we wanted to see in Bologna, and a short walk to the train station for day trips. There were food and beverage options next door and across the street, and a market very nearby. The layout of our room was great. It was nice to have a mini kitchen. "We stayed in a Hotiday room,24. The hotel was in a fabulous location a few minutes walk from the castle and cathedral and the old city has a wonderful grid system so it is easy to navigate. "We had a very pleasant stay here. The room was very large with a very spacious bathroom. Everything was extremely clean and very well appointed. We received a friendly welcome even with a major language barrier. We were encouraged to have our evening meal in their restaurant - what a treat it was! Excellent local food, plentiful and well priced. Breakfast was included in our room rate - it was very good! Overall we would recommend this place, perfect for a few nights to explore the local area...
