Excellent location within walking distance to the train station, popular tourist attractions and shops. Spacious room with a historic touch and luxury feeling. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay for 4 nights in early December. I would really recommend the hotel and would love to stay again in future. Lovely room - spacious, comfortable, huge bed, and very grand. We overlooked the internal courtyard which was a bonus as it's quieter than the main street. Breakfast was delicious - a great all-you-can-eat buffet of croissants, jams, eggs, bacon, cheeses, meats, cereal, fruit, yoghurts, cakes, coffees, teas, juices, etc - and the staff were very friendly. Each morning one of the staff went out of his way to recommend different types of Bolognese speciality cakes. The hotel bar is a relaxed, warm place for an evening drink to escape the December cold. Perfect negroni. The reception is very grand with a chandelier and wonderful christmas tree. Check-out was at 12 midday and we were able to leave our cases until the evening. The location is perfect - a short walk from the train station, and a short walk to the city centre main square.

The staff were very nice and the hotel itself is in a great location if you want to walk around and explore the center of Bologna. The staff were ready with a map and showed us exactly where to go for the local attractions and good food.

I really enjoyed my two-week stay at the Hotel Internazionale. The hotel is nicely situated between the train station that's a 10-minute walk in one direction and the heart of town that's a 10-minute walk in the other. My room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Taking a shower was an awkward experience. The room was sometimes too chilly, but that was not the hotel's fault. Italian government regulations limit when heating systems can be activated. The staff was very helpful, particularly Rachele at the front desk and Cristiano on the food staff. They were fantastic! Rachele, with her welcoming enthusiasm, recommended and made reservations for us at a number of nice restaurants serving traditional food. Cristiano, with his upbeat personality, introduced me to Sancaberlot wine - a combination of Sangiovese, Cab, and Merlot grapes. The breakfast was decent. I typically had croissants (cornetti), but there were a number of other choices. (The croissants I've had in Paris or those from my local Fresh Market in Florida are tastier.) My friends and I enjoyed having a glass of wine in the hotel's "Secret Garden" now and then. Tante grazie Hotel Internazionale!

Very clean, though the carpet in my room was a bit worn near the front door, and there was a leak under my toilet that I told the front desk about / but don’t think they fixed as it was still leaking. Breakfast was a full European styled breakfast - there was not want for anything😀

The staff and location are great. Loved the breakfast. The rooms are nice and clean, but the carpets in the lifts need to be replaced. The rooms also need a desk, and better wifi. Overall, though, we really like this place and will return.
