"We traveled to the area for some winter hiking on the nearby Appalachian Trail and luckily chose to stay at the Lake Chatuge Lodge. Very friendly and helpful staff, our room was large and comfortable, adequate breakfast, and a nice bonus for us; clean and economical laundry machines on our floor. Great nearby locally owned restaurants and retailers too. We originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying 2 additional nights. We will definitely return for our next North Georgia mountain hiking trip!"

"I have had the privilege to visit this resort twice now. I love the atmosphere. The only thing I would change is that the beds aren’t super comfy but I also have back issues so they may be just fine to others that don’t struggle with back issues. "

"Overall, this is an amazing cabin that we hope to stay in again! Pros:5 Star Service. They respond quickly, are effective, and are understanding. The cabin's. Even the closets are room size. There is lots of seating and amenities. There were towels galore which was a concern. The kitchen was well equipped. The layout, as shown, with the glass and pool centered was great for seeing everyone and maneuvering the space. The location is amazing, with a great view of the lake and hills/mountains while also being in great proximity to stores (including groceries) and restaurants. There's a room that's not shown that's an extra lounge and office area with a desk, sofa (pull-out bed), and tv in it. The con of this is that this is why they say it sleeps 20. However, the place really can sleep 20 comfortably depending.Cons:There is some maintenance and extra cleaning that could be done. There were "not working" signs throughout the home, including on doors. The speakers in the pool room don't connect to anything. HVAC and water heater highlights: rooms on the same floor experienced different temperatures, "hot spot" in the foosball area, multiple cold showers, and the pool room doesn't have HVAC, so it was cold. So the pool temperature didn't seem to keep up and reach the 80 degrees. The hot tub placement was ok, but would've been better placed outside of the pool area. You have to either walk out of the pool area and around the house, or go through the master bedroom."

"Rented this for a race at Tsali, bonus that it was convenient to downtown Bryson City. Clean, comfortable, newer cabin."

"Our experience in Nantahala Cabins was really amazing. These cabins have everything you can imagine you will need to make you feel like if you live here. Some are pet friendly (if you are bringing pets make sure you select 'or are assigned' a friendly one). Pet policy is also prefect, as they state you cannot leave pets unattended, unless in a crate; and this comes the best part: they provide the large and I would say Luxurious crate themselves. Fee might be a little more flexible, but you can bear it, and probably we ourselves deserve that (our pets are really well behaved, but you never know). Communication with management is superior; they are in the premises and take care of you as is your were from the First Class Deck. If you stay here you won't regret and you will clearly understand what we mean. Yes, I said select or 'are assigned' a cabin, because you may select one, but they may assign a different one due to actual conditions, like in our case that previous guests decided to stay longer (it seems they liked it, no wonder) we were upgraded; no complaints at all. Just double check you check- in instructions, especially the key code, with them prior to arrival. Surroundings are pretty cool, Bryson is a very cute city, make sure you evaluate attractions in advance and also make reservations in advance, like for the tour train, yes the train; we missed because it was sold out. And also The Lost Sea Adventure (well, it is not that close, but closer than home; missed)."
