"Out of the way and off the grid property. The road in and out is single lane, be prepared to back out if need be. Lots of twists and turns, if you’re one to get car sick be prepared. But once there it’s a quaint, quiet studio like place with nice little deck to sit on and enjoy the tranquility of the area. No cell, no web service. Just you and your partner, or as it was me and my girl. "

"This cottage is perfect for a quiet get away. The owners are delightful and they communicated driving directions and the check in process exceptionally well. I loved getting away from it all as the cottage did not have a TV or internet. Phone service was perfect, though. If you are taking a class at the John C. Campbell Folk School, this cottage is only a five minute drive and an adorable find. The cottage was spotless, seemed newly renovated, and the kitchen was well stocked. Would absolutely...

"Really lovely place. Our kids (14 & 11) absolutely loved the animals. The alpacas, donkeys, goats and chickens were awesome. Kids got to do feedings of the goats and chickens with Collin and had such fun. Collin and Jenn are great communicators. We stayed in the Bobcat cabin and it was fantastic. Very comfortable and so we’ll done up. We even were given fresh eggs that the kids collected at the morning feeding. I can highly recommend Cobb Cabins."

"This sweet cabin was just right for my husband and me. We loved the porch rockers and enjoyed the beautiful view. We cooked breakfast and grilled at night. I’m glad we took the truck .. steep climb to the top. The cabin was just the right size for us and had everything we needed. We met friend in nearby Murphy and explored the Nantahala Outdoor Center. But mostly enjoyed the cabin and this beautiful quiet, escape!"
